JAI sketch on the side...& a catch up!

Good morning!

It's so long since I blogged that the set up has changed - not sure I can remember what to do!
Anyway, the JAI sketch challenge this week has motivated me to pop in to blog world for a bit. I turned the sketch on it's side so I could fit in stamps from my fave set at the moment "Happy Hour". A great set for Christmas & the rest of the year. I used gumball green & cherry cobbler & the snow festival dsp.
Here's the card:
Whilst I'm actually blogging I may as well share a couple of other creations. The first is one of the rosette Christmas trees that are popular lately. I purchased Jenny Moors tutorial which is great...and I stayed up into the wee hours to finish it. The rosettes started out a bit fiddly & then became quite addictive, I couldn't put it down until I'd folded & threaded them all...so be prepared! Oh yes, I used SU! Good Cheer dsp.

And finally ...who can resist making an elephant card with bunting? Not me! Here it is (it's not so blurry in real life):
All done...see you in another 6 or so months!

My cards for the Year!

Hey!
Well, I've kicked off the year by making a start on a few cards for birthdays this month & February, which is all very well but I still have to post them & two need to get to the UK in time....no consideration for others these people having January birthdays when the rest of us are still trying to get over Christmas!
I've CASED the butterfly card on page 94 of the Australian SU! catalogue & used my sewing machine.
So without further ado, here's something I made earlier:
Take care!
