Fabulous Engagement!

This is for a good friend of mine. I haven't sent it yet, but she's too busy being in love to look here so it won't spoil the surprise!!

Stamps are the same as for the previous Fabulous Flowers card. I've also used 'Warm Words' for the cherish sentiment.

Thanks for looking!

Just for the Boys!

Stampin' Up! have made making cards for males so much easier by releasing some great new stamp sets. Admittedly it will help if the man in question has some sporting interest, but the 'Just Surfing', 'Just Golf' and 'Just Cricket' sets have already been described as 'cool' and ordered for birthdays by the males in my house! Fantastic - gives me even more reason to buy them all!

The samples below use stamp sets: Just Surfing, Seaworthy,Sanded (background) and It's My Birthday. Paper: outlaw designer series double sided paper, sahara sand, close to cocoa.

Of course there's no reason why girls won't like them too!

Happy weekend!

Fabulous Mothers

Yes we all know that most mums are fabulous! So, with that in mind and with Mother's day approaching, I have used the truly fabulous new 'Fabulous Flowers' stamp set. I've used the delicious Purely Pomegranate ink, card and ribbon and mounted it on River Rock cardstock. I stamped the flower three times and cut out separate layers which I mounted with stampin' dimensionals. This makes it 'pop' from the card! The sentiment is from the new 'Occasional Greetings' set. The flat backed pearls are from the delightful new Pretties kit Images © Stampin' Up! 1990 - 2008

Happy creating this weekend!

A Dazzling New Stamping Year!

A warm welcome to my brand new stamping Blog!
The Stampin' Up! new year is in full swing. The catalogue is bright, fresh and bursting with stunning colours and ideas.
For this card I have covered the on board accent flowers with regal rose (I think .....could be pixie pink) and chocolate chip (small one). Then I have used versamark, the heat and stick powder and dazzling diamonds to create a beautiful sparkly effect.
I will be trying to post new cards often, particularly as I have lots of new scrummy goodies to play with!

Thanks for stopping by!

Caroline
